The old reliables

Since I am not eating the required amount of almonds these days, and since I am not listening to Mozart at all (two things which are supposed to make you smarter), my intelligence has gone back to its natural below average state. Therefore, no new posts.

Q. What does a blogger do when he can not come up with new material?
A. He posts pictures.

Senthil, in one of those rare moments showcasing his infinite wisdom, suggested that I upload the shot of shoes, so that people can compare it with the shot of laces and decide which one they like more. So, here it is, my other decent shot from the insomniac series.

PS. Normal service will be resumed the moment I get paid for this month and buy some almonds.

Ah. I love this shot. However, I couldn't help noticing something... let me see if I can put the facts straight: You were unable to sleep. You put on these boots, and went out. You came back, took them off, and photographed them.
Now, let me draw your attention to what look like specks of water on the shoe uppers. Hmmmm. Urinating in the open again, eh?

m.: Glad you like the pic. Insomnia can be tough, but that is not a problem I suffer from. Quite the opposite, actually -- I have trouble keeping my eyes open. I shall go and correct the link soon. Thanks for pointing it out.

m.: Hey! You again! Well, among my friends, I have quite a reputation for being a footwear enthusiast (ask Senthil). Maybe it is infectious?

jade: Really? Cool!

senthil: Fact 1: I didn't wear the shoes and go out. I went out, came back, was looking for something to shoot (couldn't think of black bucks, dammit), and saw the shoes. Fact 2: What appears to be specks of water are actually places where I touched the shoes to position them, thereby removing days and days of accumulated dust. Fact 3: I have not urinated in the open for more than 3 days now. So there.
